This is an educational subversive hack to be disseminated to all who fuq the system and are in the business of building new worlds for us to love and live safely within a community that centers care.

This first volume takes a deep dive into GENTRIFICATION and community actions surrounding this topic. With it, we are inviting y’all to take part as well, this entire newspaper is to be used as an accessible art and educational tool. We believe that the answers to resolution are in collaborating and engaging with community on all levels. We are honored to have Jy + Jamila’s phenomenal insight into a very important and relevant situation that endangers our communities. Inside every newspaper is the tools provided to do a community action in public space. We are so excited to collaborate with each and every one of y’all.

This project was made in collaboration with nine co-conspirators whose work speaks deeply about meaningful kinship using the tools of curiosity, imagination, care and abolition. In the process of making this zine we have gathered tools to build the world we wanna live in outside of capitalist ideals that thrive with in the culture of white supremacy. This is how we step away from individualism and fully embrace community over everything.
