Rooted in queer feminist kinship and ethics of care, the book incorporates film and digital photography, polaroids, poetry, handwriting, and other ephemera from the artist's daily encounters in BIPOC/Queer communities. Beyond an irrecoverable loss, how can nostalgia’s tender teachings enable us to recognize the uniqueness of each moment while it is still here? The book grapples with predictive grief through creating a memory sanctuary with both documentary and poetic sensibilities.
